SPECIAL FOR MAY AT SOUTH LAKE UNION
THE ROBERT TOWNSEND BURGER

This burger is dedicated to the late Robert Townsend who was a regular here at Blue Moon Burgers. Robert (Bobby) lost his life in an accident while working for Jimmy John’s delivering sandwiches on his bike. We were contacted by several of Robert’s friends and who asked if we would feature his favorite burger in his memory.

So in honor of Bobby we are offering the Robert Townsend Burger for the month of May at the South Lake Union store and we will be donating $2.00 for every Robert Townsend Burger sold to the Bicycle Alliance of Washington in Robert’s name.

We should probably warn you ahead of time, Bobby’s favorite Burger was the El Diablo Azul with Peanut Butter!

]]> Nacho Momma’s Burger

We loved this burger so much that we are bringing it back to celebrate Cinco de Mayo – and keeping it around the entire month of May!

Here’s how we celebrate: we start with a fresh Larsen’s bun, spread on our own cilantro lime mayo, add a perfectly grilled 1/4 pound premium Northwest Grass Fed patty that has been studded with chiles and seasoned with our own housemade taco seasoning, and then we pour on our housemade green chile nacho cheese sauce, some fresh pico de gallo and a layer of crunchy tortilla straws to give this burger a little crunch.

To accompany the Nacho Momma’s Burger in May, we are taking our tasty tater tots and loading them up with our own housemade green chile nacho cheese sauce, fresh pico de gallo, jalapenos and sour cream.  Totchos!!
